Teaching Listening

Introduction

Teching listening is activity that has to be done in EFL class. Listening is chief skill that has to be master by every language learner in the world. To be able to be fluent in English, EFL teacher has to encourage their students to master this skill. Listening is passive skills, therefore this skill has to completely practice. Reflection

In this lesson,  I learned about how to make podcasts. In this lesson, we worked in group to create a podcast.  At the group, I worked as a editor while my friends make their voice record.  After I got the record I edited with audacity. To be honest, I don't understand first how to operate this app because at that day, I was absent. But I don't give up,  I search on the internet about how to operate audacity,  Alhamdulillah I understand and I started to edit the recorder.

Because our task is create podcast,  we have to send our recorded in podomatic and published it.  At this session,  I don't find difficulties,  it's easy enough to publish our podcast. if you don't have account, you have to make first and sign in, that's it, simple.

When I learned about how to make a podcast, I find it enjoyable and useful. I am very enjoy do the task every single steps. The best part of this task is when I edited the recorder,  it's difficult but interested. I think, I can use my podcast and my voice recorder as a material to teach especially in listening class.
